It is only a short train journey (4hrs) from Ho Chi Minh City to the tropical beaches of Mui Ne. During this Vietnam trip, you'll stay in delightful, colonial-style bungalows and practically roll out of bed onto the vast, golden sands. Stretched out on your lounger, fresh juice in hand, there is plenty of time to let your adventures sink in while you soak up the sun. But Mui Ne has a lot more to offer; just a little inland you'll find yourself amongst giant sand dunes that will make you feel like you're standing in the Sahara.

Southern Trips in Vietnam Saigon and the Mekong

This Vietnam tour is a whirlwind trip to the important cultural highlights of South Vietnam. Like many of our other Vietnam trips, you'll begin in Ho Chi Minh City. Here, you'll spend 3 nights in a comfortable hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and one night in a hotel on the bank of the mighty Mekong River. You'll visit the haunting Cu Chi tunnels, where the Viet Cong lived as underground. You'll get an eerie sense of Vietnam's dark past as you crawl through the tunnels and observe the horrific torture machines. After this confronting experience, you'll spend 2 days sailing through the emerald Mekong Delta, passing floating markets and stopping at the island villages.

Mekong Trips in Vietnam Deeper into the delta
