Vietnam flight stopovers - We've got the flights for you

Stopover destinations

There is usually little extra cost to your Vietnam flights if you just transit, or opt to take a stopover. A two night stay is usually enough for a good rest, and enough time to have a good look around the highlights of the city. We can arrange your accommodation, and there is plenty of choice from a simple comfortable lodge, to deluxe hotels, always centrally located.

If you're thinking of incorporating Vietnam into a multiple stop, or Round the world itinerary, again we have the knowledge and airline deals to arrange these. Just contact us.

Below are some of the more popular stopover destinations for our Vietnam flights.

Singapore

A bustling, extremely affluent and indeed, very clean city-state. Singapore has a little bit of everything, from Chinatown with its typical markets, to the original facades of Little India, as well as Arab street with it's temples and colourful streets packed with silk traders.

One of the best things about Singapore is the food and drink. Singapore can offer everything from cheap to chic, from western to true Singaporean, in an Eastern ambiance that's almost unrivalled. If you want to relax and have some fun, head for Sentosa island with its beaches, amusement parks and entertainment. Make sure you check out the Night Safari; it's really a unique experience. Try a bumboat trip out into the bay to see the Merlion statue or visit one of the many museums.

If you like, we can also arrange a starter pack here, with our Singapore Travel Starter Pack module. This includes and airport transfer and 2 nights in a Singapore hotel.
Accomodation in Hong Kong

Hong Kong

Everyone should visit Hong Kong at some point or another in their lifetime. Officially Hong Kong is a part of China, but on the other hand it’s remarkably un-Chinese. A visit to Hong Kong will include a wide variety of skyscrapers, countless shopping malls, a massive amount of Chinese signs, fast-walking high-powered Chinese business women on cell phones and shop windows filled with the strangest looking food you’ve ever seen. However, it's also home to incredibly photogenic places such as Hong Kong Island where the typical Chinese junks are docked. Catch the Star Ferry and enjoy a China tours harbour cruise for only 2 Euros. Aberdeen harbour offers a wonderful view of Victoria Peak that you won’t want to miss.

If you like, we can also arrange a starter pack here, with our Hong Kong arrival tours module. This includes 2 nights in a Hong Kong hotel in Kowloon, Hong Kong Harbour or Lantau Island.

Kuala Lumpur

The cosmopolitan capital of Malaysia is certainly worth a stopover.

Whilst in "KL" take the lift to the observation deck of the Petronas Towers, still the highest twin towers in the world, but how much longer? And then there’s also the neo-colonial, Anglo-Moorish style train station, the ultra-modern Masjid Negara mosque and the surprising contrast, interlaced between the high rise buildings, the small streets and kampongs where the pace of life is quite a bit slower.

You'll be spoiled for choice when it comes to eating in KL. Malaysian satay and excellent fish-head soup compete with plenty of cheap fast-food restaurants (if you not feeling so adventurous). If you've got time on your Vietnam trip, how about a day trip to Malacca, a lovely city with fantastic old ruins?

If you like, we can also arrange a starter pack here, with our Kuala Kumpur Travel Starter Pack module. This includes an airport transfer and 2 nights in a Kuala Lumpur hotel in Chinatown or Bukit Bintang.
